Dr Patel is unlike any other doctor that I have been to. He is very easy to talk to and listens intently to every word. He genuinely cares about his patients and follows up with other professionals. He takes a personal interest and provides excellent care. I am extremely fortunate that he is my doctor.
Dr. Patel immediately responded to request by PcP for evaluation of %SpO2 crash. With strong sense of urgency he performed multiple test in the differential diagnosis process. He personally reached out to trusted and competent Cardiologist to expand the assessment and ultimately lead to a diagnosis, prognosis and “Get Well Plan.” His compassionate approach to patient care has led to the assembly of the most competent Care Team available in SWFL.
DrPatel is a great doctor because he has compassion and explains things that i could understand. even right before the prosedger. he bowed down to the rail of my bed i said can i see your face this was during mask time he did lower his mask i said you are easy on the eyes and away i went he found the cancer cell and expidited the rest thank you
If Dr Patel leaves NCH I for one will be following him wherever and whenever he goes! NCH’s. Big loss!!! What our world needs now is more Dr’s like him. I refer him to friends, family and their friends.

I have shown up to my last 4 scheduled appointments but Dr. Patel was not there ! They rescheduled me each time and did not receive any calls of texts telling me he was not there. Several e mails have been sent to his office mgr. request ing she contact me over the passed month but received no call back from Leah. Dr Patel treated me for severe Covid-19. Acute bilateral pneumonia. Saved my life. Caring, listens and explains thoroughly and treats you as a person. Highly recommend.
He reviewed all my prior records before the appointment and followed up very quickly with results.
Dr. Patel and his staff are great. The only problem I am having is you cannot contact anyone in his office directly, you have to deal with a central billing office at NCH. I have called three times to rectify this problem and they have reassured me they would be sending an email to the person responsible in the doctors office to rectify this problem. After three phone calls it is still not rectified and very frustrating.
