Dr. Patel was my husband's doctor for a few years. Dr. Patel wanted my husband to take the interferon ribavarin combo to cure my husband's hepatitis C and so he did. After 11 months on these powerful drugs, his viral load started increasing again so Dr Patel took him off of it. A year later we went to see a hepatologist, and he said my husband's viral load from before he took these drugs was low and he should never have been prescribed those drugs. He missed my cancer when he did my colonoscopy. My Oncologist said he should have seen the cancer. Definitely can’t recommend him!
I had a colonoscopy in October, 2023. I had asked Dr Patel to remove my hemorrhoid at that time. He said no, I’d have to see a Surgeon. Well, I did, finally in May. The Surgeon removed the hemorrhoid and sent tissue to a pathologist. It was cancer. I asked my Oncologist if Dr Patel should have seen the cancer and, he said yes. All Patel is interested in is removing polyps. I’m now waiting to see what stage cancer I have. Thanks for nothing Dr Patel
Dr. Wants tp charge a fee to reschedule a cancelled visit because they are “losing money”. Any reputable doctor doesn’t need to do this. No future business from me.
Caring and knowledgeable doctor but wait time is ridiculous! I've been seeing this doctor for more than 15 years and the wait just keeps getting longer and longer. The last 2 appointments I had to wait an hour in the waiting room then another 30 minutes in the exam room. When making an appointment today, I explained the situation to the scheduling assistant and asked if they could call me just prior to the time that the doctor could see me. My wife and I have been going to see Dr M for years. He has helped us so much with our tummy issues. He has great bedside manner. I recommend Dr M to anyone that needs a gastrointestinal doctor. He's great!!!!
