Do not buy Patel Brother’s Brand any flour test is very beater any any packing.
Fresh Produce I can always rely on Patel's to have all of the vegetables I need to cook something last minute. They pretty much have everything but meat. Frozen foods, breads, milk, yogurt, vegetables, rice, etc.

Overcharge by Merchant This is the second time I have been overcharged for items I did not buy. I complained about the overcharge to the cashier and to the owner, but they did not give me back the credit. I have noticed that the cashiers overcharge and add additional items if you buy 10 or more items. I am going to see if I can bring this fraud to the attention of Better Business Bureau.
Watchout at checkout - they add items you did not buy!!!!! I had a similar experience as one of the folks here has mentioned ( nirav). The folks at checkout about 1 -2 items worth 3-4 bucks for every 10 or so items. If you buy a lot of stuff you are almost certain to have nonsensical items added and since they do not describe what you bought in the sales receipt, they are always covered. I wonder if we can complain to some authority on this?
Good store for indian grocessaries This place has everything you can think of in a small place. The vegetables here are always fresh - any day of the week. The prices are reasonable. They have reorganized the frozen section which has more variety now. The only problem is they don't let the carts out from the store so if you have too much heavy grocery, its difficult to carry. They do have loading zone but we have found always cars parked in that area.
Indian Groceries and Veggies One of the largest and busiest grocery stores on Newark Avenue (India Square). On a street with over 10 grocery sores, cutthroat competition, and perishable foods, Patel Bros has managed to survive for decades, growing and doing well. I think it's because they carry everything and the groceries/veggies/fruits are the freshest. There is a really high turnover of products, so I feel confident that whatever I'm picking up is not old. The operation is run like a small American supermarket (not a fobb... read more
Little pricy for the quality You might as well beware as the cashiers are trained to overcharge or double charge your items and since the receipts don't have any items listed, just the price, it is difficult to find what you are charged for. If you can take care of this then of all the stores on that road, this place carries good variety and also decent quality
Indian grocery Patel Cash & Carry is the home store away from home for the expatriot Indian community. They have a good selection of fresh vegetables including vegetables found only in Indian stores, such as suran (yam), drum stick, long beans, and snake gourd. The store is small, but they carry all the spices, rice and lentil varieties. Ready-made frozen food and spice mixes are also available. They have a decent selection of pickles and sweets. The store can be very crowded, especially on weekends.
Patel Cash & Carry has a 4 star rating with 3,451 reviews.
