WORST DOCTOR ON EARTH This doctor is the worst person let alone dr that i have ever met. BEWARE: if your insurance is medicade or medicare he willnot give you time of day. He was more intersted in informing me that medicade and foodstamps are coming to an end and that when i reach retirement age there will be no ssi for me to draw from. he thinks a full time mom is not a job! he only asked me 4 question about my health history. doctors office from HELL! My pediatrician had to referre us there because they must be the only doctors office in town that except wellcare.I tryed to call and make an appt but the sec. wouldnt let me she said l had to have a referral form faxed over from my doctor but every time i called my doctor he would tell me i didnt need one but that he would fax one anyway. Dr. Arvind Patel He was mad at us for bringing a 3 year old child in for treatment when we called and verified ahead of time they took 3 year olds. He said what we needed were parenting skills, and I agreed with him, so while the 3 year old ran around he started to write a name on a piece of paper. My sister got up to take the 3 year old into the lobby while we waited for the referal, but I guess my sister getting up made the "doctor" mad and he yelled at us to "GET OUT!" Not once, but twice. Not a bad Doc! He was the only Dr at the time that treated pts w/ Suboxone and that's what we needed. The Front desk lady was all about doing her job. I didn't see nothing wrong with her, well that was her personality. We were able to deal with that. What we hate the most is the longggggg wait time. It seems that they can come up w/ a better schedule to fit their patients in. I have no complaints but the time. Overall he has been a good Dr to us. Is this a DR? The rude RECEPTIONIST aside, what's really important to the patient is the Dr, and, in my opinion, this person is a poor excuse for a Dr! First of all, the first duty of a psychiatrist is being able to COMMUNICATE with the patient, and with THIS 'Dr', that is difficult if your primary language is ENGLISH! Odd that a Dr who has not mastered the English language, would choose a field of 'MEDICINE' absolutely REQUIRING fluency in ENGLISH! Patel Arvind Md Unlike many of the reviewers here, I didn't have much trouble with the lady in the front office. She was brusque, for sure, and I would have preferred someone more friendly and polite, but she performed her job.
Horrible office woman You could not be more correct. That office lady could not, absolutely could not, get any worse. I have confronted Dr. Patel about her, he just shrugged it off. I have been seeing him 17 years. Yes, she does hate anyone in that office; perhaps she hates her job. Time for her to get another one.
Still there The rude office woman is still there. I needed to get ahold of Dr. Patel due to an emergency contflicting with the appointment. I gave notice because of the emergency but, the mean office woman had left a message on my answering maching that I would be charged for the appointment and missed it. I had given more than 24 hours notice due to an ambulance being at a relatives house. I finally got it straightened out but I had to bypass mean office woman by calling until someone else answered. patient I have been seeing Dr. Patel for a long time. I do agree about the lady at the window. This woman had it out for me...for nothing. She will cost Dr. Patel business...no dobt. They are not all like that. They used to be nice and helpful; no more. Some other patients heard her offensive way with me and said they couldn't stand her either. Other patients said they complained but yet, she is still there.
