The Lennox furnace installed by Pat Walters 5 yrs and 2 1/2 months ago just died. Warranty lasted for 5 yrs. My prior furnace lasted 30 years. The service manager said Lennox wouldn't recognize warranty and that he wouldn't discount parts or labor for 15 minute service call. I like to buy local but with a $75 service call charge for a company that's 10 minutes away and when the bill is almost $500 I would expect the company to be more customer service oriented.
