The Ozarks Regional YMCA was established in Springfield in 1888, and The Pat Jones YMCA is one of eight family centers in the area. The Y is for everyone. This place is fun awesome I enjoyed coming here with my family except the part where I saw a guy doing yoga butt naked in the sauna 🤦🤕
The kids pool area is rarely open during the hours it is supposed to be, due to being understaffed. This is a direct reflection on the leadership. The wonderful staff are also suffering and telling us to leave comments in the suggestions box. The donors/board should look into this. Membership prices have gone up along with the disappointments. Terrible experiences at this Y which caused me to cancel. Total lack of communication, some days they close without announcing, their staff is rude and unhelpful, their facility is run down and unkept. Completely disappointed.
The music early Sunday morning isn’t loud enough. They really need to ask why. Why isn’t the music louder? Why can’t they hear it on Glenstone? All of Springfield needs to hear it. Please. Please turn it up!
