I was referred to this office by an ENT specialist to help determine possible hearing loss. I expected to receive a hearing test, which did happen. What I did NOT expect was the visit to be billed as a 'Hearing Aid Examination' which is NOT covered by insurance. Thanks to the coding, and unwillingness to change the coding, even when my PCP expressed his dismay at this, left me with a 300$ out of pocket expense that doesn't even contribute towards my yearly deductible.
