I first discovered Pastche when I first moved to Providence from Los Angeles. I fell in love with the place....it reminded me of a place that I went to in L. A., Sweet Lady Jane. The cake are fabulous and they sell it by the slice so you can tastes each one. I also love their blueberry muffins. They also make great espresso drinks and make it correctly. I lado love the fact that they are open late at night.
Baking is as much a science as it is an art and here is where they perfectly meet.
The scones alone were perfection, but I just finished up my slice of banana cream tart and died. Pastiche makes eating dessert a religious experience �
Stopped in one day with a friend who said I had to try it. The chocolate cake was amazing! Went back because I needed it again and also got a caramel latte, one of the best lattes I've had in a long time. I will absolutely be back! :)
