The people at this place seem very dishonest. They are very friendly and nice, but I think that's just to distract you while they figure out how to get your money. I took my car in for the NC state inspection and it failed. So, then they got a bunch of money out of me to run a diagnostics test, then told me that I need to pay a few hundred in repairs*. Well, I picked up my car and took it to another station, and it passed without any problems. The folks at the second station told me that there's no way the code would have co... read more

I can't say enough good things about these guys. I feel like part of the family when I go there. They call me by name and take very good care of me and my car. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
RIP OFF, THEY LIE – I have never seen anything like what these people charge. 4 spark plugs, they tried to charge me $125.. timing belt 1500.. I had the spark plugs done in Pittsboro for 50 and a timing belt put on for 650. I have a friend who recently went here before she bought a car thinking she could trust that they would tell her everything wrong before she bought. Great Service – We brought our 05 Prius in with a check engine light on and car would not drive. Chapel Hill Tire in Carrboro was able to diagnose the vehicle and repair it in a timely manner and was cheaper then the dealer on a Hybrid battery replacement. I would recommend Chapel Hill Tire to all my friends.
