I went to Passport Health to get some immunizations for a trip to Ghana. Their website mentioned that they had the yellow fever vaccine, and that was one of the ones I needed to travel to Ghana. The clinic did not even have the yellow fever vaccine, and they tried to scam me out of hundreds of dollars. They wanted to charge me $17 per pill for a daily malaria pill. They told me that I needed a cholera immunization even though I later found out that the CDC does not recommend a cholera immunization for travelers to Ghana. The... read more

Please, please do not go to this place for your immunizations. The county health department charges nothing for your visit and know all the immunizations you need for your travel anywhere in the world. This place, however, offered my daughter immunizations that she didn’t need, told her it was $680 for malaria pills (it’s actually about $70–I just purchased four months worth for this price), take no insurance (your insurance will pay for most of your immunizations outright or with a small copay).
