The nurse thoroughly prepared me for a safe trip. In addition to vaccinations, she told me about other diseases prevalent where I plan to travel and how to protect myself against them. She also gave an extremely painless vaccine.
Very knowledgeable nurse goes through all the risks and recommendations. Very worthwhile.
Nurse Amy was thorough and very accommodating. She was able to advise on what vaccines I should get when traveling even beyond what was recommended and provided me with medical kit and mosquito repellent for clothes and skin. I was able to get in for a next day appointment and when I needed to leave to investigate my cruise restrictions and contact my doctor, I was able to get a same day appointment to complete my vaccines.
Unfortunately for some vaccines this is the only option in the East Bay. I still say it's worth driving to SF or South Bay for alternatives, like the AITC Immunization Clinic in SF. 1) Extremely expensive, and prices are hidden. I called in and was quoted around $550+ for the Chikungunya vaccine, around $415 for the Cholera vaccine, and $125 for the office visit.
