Great visit with our I-Care nurse. She was thorough and helpful.
My daughter had the worst experience at Passport Health in Naperville. She paid a large amount of money out of pocket for a “consultation” because they do not take insurance, yet she did not even see a nurse practitioner — she only saw a regular nurse during the visit. The yellow fever vaccine is extremely expensive, and our insurance covers it 100%, so she simply requested a prescription/order to have it filled through a pharmacy. They completely refused. We are traveling to Africa this summer and honestly didn’t know what we needed as far as to make sure we were going to stay healthy and be able to enjoy our trip. The nurse, she was the only employee there and I forgot her name (sorry) was beyond helpful and very detailed on what she recommended and why, what is necessary based on where we are going and time of year. I would definitely recommend Passport Health for all the medical travel needs. They were great at explaining all the shots and medicines I may need to go to the area I’m traveling to . Plus the shots didn’t hurt at all
