Donnell and Fred are terrific teachers and very creative artists. They make a great tag team. I spent a wonderful 3 day weekend with five other students making a hypertufa cement patio planter and a cement covered Styrofoam base garden snail that will be finished with mosaic glass. My husband and I flew in from North Carolina to attend Mosaic Camp. We had an exceptional time! The whole experience was phenomenal. I just got back from an amazing 4-day workshop at Camp Ocean Pines. The entire experience far exceeded my expectations in every way! My wife and I attended the foam sculpting workshop recently. Fred and Donnell did an excellent job of transferring knowledge about using and forming cement-covered foam as a substrate for mosaic art. Perusing their website and looking at their studio and grounds you will see what accomplished artists they truly are. If you are interested in sculptural mosaics I can't think of a better place to start than with their instruction.
