This restaurant is related to my other favorite Indian restaurant. I order the same thing every time I go to either of them, but no matter what you get it is FANTASTIC. I love the Paneer Tikka Masala, Garlic Naan, Cucumber and tomato salad, veggie rice and more garlic naan - LOL. I love the Taj Mahal beer. I have been here many times and anyone I have brought has loved it. Give it a try, you'll be a fan too!
Awesome – I can't eat spicy, and while you can certainly ask for them not to make it spicy, there is still plenty to choose from that is delicious and already not spicy, and vice versa. It's reasonably priced, I LOVE the poori (puffy bread). And the Tandoori mixed grill, oh man! I want to go there now! I felt the staff was always very kind, and the place was decorated so beautifully. It's almost hypnotizing.
Great Experience – Excellent service, superb food, and a great atmosphere to boot. I had the Chicken Masala (Great!) and my friend had the Malai Kofta (Delicious!). We also shared an order of Garlic Nan, which was enjoyed quite a lot too. (As usual, there's just not enough of it, because it's so good). We were surprised that the place was so reasonably priced too. We were able to enjoy a full meal (with sides and drinks) and we didn't break the bank doing it. Definitely going again.
Wow – By far my favorite Indian restaurant! I haven't been disappointed by any of their food. My favorite foods there are the Palak Paneer, Punjabi Curry and Mali Kofta. They also have excellent Nan in many different flavors. I would, and have, recommended this place to people!
Best Indian place in san diego – The best Indian food I've had in the city so far. Everything was very flavorful and the service was great. I had the Chicken Vindaloo and it tasted great, but could have been a little hotter. We also got an order of the Pakora and they were good and the chutneys that came with it were fresh and tasty. After we were done with the Pakoras and my friend commented how much she enjoyed the Tamarind Chutney, the waiter brought us some more of both chutneys to enjoy with our Naan. My friend got the ... read more

The service is great and the staff is very friendly...Hope they remain in business for many more years..
Excellent service and great food Very good food and service. The owner Mr. Singh is a very nice man, i have known them since they first opened fifteen years ago. i go to all three of their three resturants and I am always satisfied. They have a great buffet for only ten bucks and its all you can eat.
good value indian buffet Passage to India is a fairly good Indian buffet with nice service, good deserts. The restaurant is a little dingy insider, despite the evocative mural of The Taj Mahal. Really, it is much nicer going to the patio -- and look at the Taj from a distance. Notes to the budget conscious: It is already a good value at $8.99, but go to the website to get "$1 off" coupons. I also like to go there while my car is getting washed at Encinitas Car Wash a few driveways down. Passage is in a pleasant strip mall wi... read more
Good Indian food! This is another good Indian restaurant we have been going to for a few years. I really like the ambience of the place; it has a large fountain that my daughter likes to go see while she's waiting for the food to arrive.
