My favourite – this place is unreal. i love indian food but am more the call for takeout kind of gal but my family took me here for my birthday and we had a great time! the decor is reserved but beautiful and the waitstaff was wonderful. we shared a few different appetizers, all fantastic and appropriately seasoned . For my meal I had the chicken tikka masala (i never deviate) and it was delicious. The sauce was the perfect blend of tomato, spices and cream and i ended up pouring it over everything else on my plate! between ... read more

Fabulous – I am a fan of the buffet only! It is the best bang for your buck! You can get chicken tandoori or other meat dishes and you have a lot of vegetarian choices. I only go there for the buffet. It is filling and it does get busy so be there after 1:00 p.m. The decor is nice, the fragrant smell and the food selection over compensates for your surroundings. There are Indian families eating there so it must be good, I personally believe that if people of their own ethnicity eat their ethnic food-it must be good.

Wonderful – I'll be going here much, much more often. It's just really good food. I stopped in to order take out and they were just opening up to prepare for dinner. There was no one else in the place, but it looks quite charming, and I would def come here w/my gal hoping that we could have the place to ourselves. I ordered the shrimp tiki masala and a mango lassi. Dude, I almost didn't even get to enjoy any of my food. I made the classic mistake of letting my gal try it before I did. Yeah, she beasted it. I'm quite sure she ... read more

Great experience – Sooooo good!! My friend lives around the corner of this place, so we stumbled in here completely starving after a long day of shopping. We had samosas, garlic naan, lamb vindaloo and chicken tikka masala. It was all really great. And the staff was extremely nice as well. It seems to be a pretty popular place too... we were there around 6 on a Saturday and it was already really filling up.

Wow – Easily the best service I've ever had in San Diego. Everything was quick, my water glass was never empty and the food was extremely good. Portions were excellent, spices were excellent -- I didn't feel let down in any aspect of my experience. I was very happy to pay the bill and leave a generous tip. I will definitely be back!

Great food – i love this place. they are great for eating in and for take out. the servers are helpful and very nice. they make sure your table is clear and your water is filled. we've had poori, naan, samosas, mango lassis and those were all really good. for main courses i usually get my favorite, chicken tikka. it's plain, but some places end up overcooking it so it's too dry, but passage to india got it perfect! the others i've dined with have ordered a variety of things and i've never heard one complaint.

Fantastic – This place is incredible!! The food is.. like woa. We started with the vegetable pakoras. They were prepared just right. We had the rogan josh and the chicken tikka masala. The sauces were amazing, absolute perfection. The lamb was so tender and beautifully prepared, it could have been a shank. The chicken biryani was unique. We finished with my favorite: rasmalai! Oh my goodness! perfection. My mouth is upset it is not munching on this as I type! A must visit!

THE BEST – This place is my go-to spot when I have family in town. It really is my favorite spot for a delicious meal, with excellent service in a beautiful dining room. They have a great wine list. I have tried an array of dishes over the past 2 years and cannot recall ever being disappointed. The only thing I haven't had is dessert- the menu is enticing but I am always too stuffed from the amazing apps and entrees. Oh- and the light, puffy, delightful naan!
