If you can manage the crowds, the cramped space, and do not mind a bit of noise, Pasquini's has some great pizza and calzones. Sure, the old space looks a bit run down inside, but the atmosphere, although extremely loud, is friendly and inviting. The starter garlic bread sticks are divine and the Vegetarian Calzone is quite good. A full bar complements the menu. For a calmer setting try the other location on 17th Avenue. Expect a long wait, at times up to two hours on the weekend.

What happened? – I had been a regular at Pasquinis for years going back to 97, I bought my bread at their bakery and loved to take friends to the restaurant. I always expected a long wait for a table but it was worth it now the wait is less but the food and service are no longer worth it. The bakery shut down and it seems as if all the reasons I loved this place are gone. Time to find a new spot huh?
User review by llamaofthesea – Everyone that we've taken to Pasquini's has loved it. Big portions - soft breadsticks dripping with butter - Dad said it was the best lasagne he'd ever had. The location on 17th is great - get a table outside on the back patio and enjoy a warm Colorado evening. The location on Broadway has "flavorful" decor (sit upstairs, not downstairs). The only downsides have been inconsistent service and the off-street parking.
Used to be good – This pizza used to be some of the best in Denver. Recently I went there with friends touting it was the best NY pizza - was I embarrassed. Chain pizza's are better than what they are serving up. And the service is slower than ever. We all left frustrated and won't return. It appears to be a change in the cooks, management, etc.
Neighborhood Italian!! – Noisey neighborhood Italian eatery with just enough atmosphere to make it Ok for what they the lack in quality. There are better choices in the area for Authentic Cuisine. Cafe Cero a block and a half South serves Excellent Authentic Italian Cuisine with Atmosphere! It is our first choice for a night of Italian and Wine, space for two or 20!!
great place – this is the first restaurant i ever went to when i moved here. i've only been to the one on 17th, but i've been several times and always love it. the food is great (and plentiful!) you can't beat a $12 bottle of wine, and, if you have room for dessert, be sure and try the chocolate candle. they have a great patio, and service is friendly (warning, it is very laid-back) and the atmosphere is fun. it's a great first date place!
Good Stuff – It's the little places like Pasquini's that make me love denver. I do agree that the one on 17th is better than the one on Broadway. The food is great and I have never had bad service there. I live out of state now and when I am in town Pasquini's is always on my list of places to visit. The funky atmosphere and the laid back servers are awesome.
Good – Unique servers and atmosphere make this an "interesting" place to visit. However, the food here is awesome. I've been there 3 times and have yet to had anything not great. The pizza's delicious and the dessert is amazing.
Nice pie! – As many of you know, it is pretty difficult to find good pizza in Denver, but Pasquini's is one of the few that makes a decent pie. The decor here is a little off beat, but that just adds to its charm. The complimentary bread sticks are pretty darn good as well. I don't live close to this place, but I've made the drive a few times when I've gotten the craving for a good pizza.
Magnifico – Great dive - good pastries - bad seating, not the best place for a group of people - perfect for couples
