We were excited to attend this event, especially knowing it supported a youth arts center. Unfortunately, we were turned away at the door because we had our baby girl with us. For a cause centered around young people, it is surprisingly unwelcoming to families. It would’ve been helpful—and more honest—if the website had clearly stated that the event wasn’t family friendly.
