Dr. Pasko became my children’s pediatrician strictly out of convenience at first. But on my daughter’s first Easter he answered my call to him quickly, and even showed up in the ER on Easter Sunday to check on us. He also called to check on my other daughter when she was admitted to a children’s hospital for an infection. As much as his punctuality drives me nuts, he makes up for it in patient care. And we never feel rushed or leave with any unanswered questions.
Dr. Pasko listens when I talk. If I don't agree with him, he'll listen to my reasons and suggest alternatives. I am an active part of my care, not just someone who does what the doctor says because he knows best. I told him on my first visit years ago that I wanted certain things from my doctor: 1. He should always tell me the truth; 2. He should listen to what I have to say because no one knows my body like I do. 3.If he can't figure out what's wrong refer me to someone who can. He does.
Arrived shortly before my 10:30 appointment. At noon, the entire staff went to lunch, without bothering to mention, leaving me sitting there until they got back around 1:00. Finally after that, I was able to see the Dr. He refused to order an MRI or a CT, until finally agreeing 3 months AFTER my accident.
If you are opinionated and like to have some say with how your child is treated medically, this Dr. might not be right for you. If you disagree with him he may treat you like you are an idiot. He has his way of doing things and there is no going around that, no compromise. Sometimes, he might not even give you a heads up as to what is going to happen. the staff is very rude, they never answer the phone. Dr. Pasko is very unprofessional, i find it hard to believe hes actually a doctor. Doesnt seem to care about your general health and welfare. Hes got a system that works for him but doesnt work for you, dont expect him to go out of his way just for your convienience. oh and hed be happy to be your gynocologist, hell offer his services right on the spot.
