Sorry Pasches. I wanted to love you. The meat was great, tender and flavorful but you really shouldn’t up charge for green beans out of the can and boxed rice. Please fix those sides. And more vegetables would be a good idea.
I’m very disappointed and unsatisfied with my order. I spent over $20 through DoorDash, and the quality did not match the price. The vegan Salisbury was extremely salty, the mac and cheese was mushy and lacked flavor, and the portion size was very small for what I paid. I expected much better.
This was a huge disappointment for me. The food was overly salty, and my order came out wrong with items I didn’t request. I genuinely believe in supporting my own, so this experience was especially disheartening in so many ways.
The fried plantains and the jerk chicken were phenomenal! Ask about their new in house hot sauce. You will not be disappointed. They were very popular for takeout but I recommend sitting in. Great atmosphere, bright and inviting. Wait staff and the chef were first class! I’ll be back!
This is one of my favorite places to eat. I remember stumbling accidentally across this restaurant while I was hungry and lost in broad street. The food felt so comforting and I could feel the love in it like a home made meal. The quality never fails to impress me and the owner has done a great job making the atmosphere vibrant and peaceful. My only wish is that it was open more days.
