Absolutely do not recommend any autistic adult with behavioral issues. I searched high and lows for negative reviews about this place and the only accurate one was 4 years ago. They will accept anyone at their expense. I told admissions many times how severe my son was. Level 2 autism and non verbal. They recommended the stables (40k) out of pocket a month. I want to start by saying I only made it 28 hours at this facility. This is because I was lied to before being admitted and during. To start I was welcomed to Pasadena villa by Emily... I only saw her for an hour as stripped searched and I requested a pad from her... she said she would be back with the pad soon, but I sat there for over 3 hours and still nobody even came up and told me they provided them in the bathroom (that I couldn't even enter because it was locked). This place will tell you anything. I brought my Autistic Son to them for a drug addiction. He had two insurances one of those they would not take. They made us pay $5,000 out of pocket. 23 days later I'm getting a phone call at 5:00 p.m. to come pick him up his ins wouldn't cover his stay any longer. Best part it hadn't covered his stay for a week. I had to drive 5 hours to pick him up. They did nothing for him in 23 days but, take our money. And, now they are saying they want another $40,000 and will take his 2nd ins... read more

Do not send your loved one here if you want them to get better it will either break or kill your loved one - staff pays no attention to clients even when a client is at a high risk - a client was able to self harm while having two supervisors monitoring the client to maintain safety. They have one Psychiatrist that sees all 50 patients one day a week and are extremely under staffed. Nursing took 50 minutes to attend to my while having a full blown panic attack.
