This program changed my life. I’m so glad I got referred here, this is a place that really cares about the people they treat, and they treat everyone with empathy and kindness. I had no clue what I needed or how to navigate as soon as I arrived to the php program I felt safe and heard . I was so nervous and unsure if I could participate in group . That was not the case it is such a warm safe environment. You are validated and heard . The other factor is you learn coping skills that are tailored to you and your situation. I have been a therapist in the Lansing community for 20 years and Pasadena offers a much needed resource! I have had several clients who have either attended Pasadena Villa, or had family members attend, and all have found it incredibly helpful.
Making the decision to come to Pasadena Villa was one of the best choices I have made for myself. Joining a program like this wasn't an easy step, it can be very difficult for many reasons. Come here for real help. Don’t come if you’re not willing to put in the work too. Now, I want to be real. It is hard walking in for any one, but once you do, it starts becoming more like family. We notice how not alone we really are. This program has helped me realize I AM normal. Also, they care. Even when you leave, they still care. You will never again have no where to turn! This place is the real deal and I’ll never regret choosing this program.
