The past two times, my eye exam was not done by a licensed optometrist. Instead, an assistant does the exams and determines your eyeglasses perscription. I had to have my exam redone last time by the actual optometrist and he changed my perscription quite a bit, requiring me to have my brand new glasses re-done with the accurate perscription.
