Went in today to pawn some gold as gold prices are at an all time high. The Asian man working offered me $500 for all I brought in. Something told me he was low balling me. I grabbed my jewelry to leave and then he said $10. I said $10 for what? He said $10 for the appraisal. I was shocked as I’ve been to many pawn shops and was never charged an “appraisal fee”.
