brought my car in with the backup lights not working. I was told the "BCM" Body Control Module was out and it would be about $1000. They said they ran a test wire to the fixture and it was the BCM out. They charge me $48.95 for this analysis. I did not get it fixed. Later I take the car back in for a fluid leak and the reverse lights. They fix the reverse lights by replacing a fuse and tell me the fluid leak is from 3 places and about $2000 to repair. Where to start with this Mickey Mouse operation they have going on in what they call "car care center" I had brought my vehicle in to be hooked up to a scanner, and have the crankshaft position sensor synced with the PCM. Because thats what you have to do on GM vehicles when you install a new crankshaft position sensor. But every " Mechanic" they had there said you did not have to. Anyway. I would like to recommend Pasadena Car Care. My car went in yesterday morning and I picked it up the same afternoon. They replaced my CV axle. They were very friendly and professional. It was my first time there and I was given a brief tour of the facility and their services!.... Who does that?. I was pleased with the cost of the repair and not being mechanically adept I was happy with the explanation of the work done. I will be going there for any future car problems.
