I run a commercial repair business. They have lots of parts, and at good prices, but beware if you have a warranty issue! I ordered a rebuilt diesel injection pump that had an issue as soon as it fired up. I was told to return the pump and it would be sent in for inspection. This would tie up the customer's car for more than a week! I asked them to sell me a replacement pump, so I could get the customer going, but they refused to even sell me a pump???? I've bought a new head cylinder, gaskets, kit and a few other parts from them. Shipped super fast and the parts we exactly as described. I have no idea what's up with all the low reviews. But the parts I ordered are hard to find and I'm pretty sure my car would not be running if this website did not exist. My personal experience in ordering from them was very positive.
Terrible experience. Out $3,200 for an engine that made it less than 6,000. Very arrogant, blamed me. Had me calling their machine shop to resolve this. They lied multiple times, took no blame. One of the machines shop response: Hi Kevin, Have you had any contact with The Parts Place? They decided to have us send your head out to the Head Re builder they use, to check our work . What an Experience! Folks, beware of the arrogant personnel here! These guys are so "out of touch" with customer service that it is a wonder they can sell anything! Here's my recent experience: Ordered a radio removal tool kit for my 02' beetle and they send me a kit that has one key in it instead of the 2 needed to remove the radio.
