Gwen... Switch your neurology care to another M.D. It can take time to find the doctor who will care for you. You can stay at Brigham, just find the right doctor who listens to you. I do not know Dr. S. but I know if a Dr. is dismissive or worse, abandons you, it is likely going to affect the MS. If you are new to MS, try support groups. I found one about 38 years ago that was superb we laughed a lot about how some people reacted to MS. I like my doctor, but the office staff/phone receptionist is incredibly rude and not helpful.
