My Mom has called Parson's House home for the last 7 years, the staff are always friendly & treat my mother & other residents with respect. My Mom always remarks how clean it is here & I agree. She loves going to all the activities.
My mom was at Parsons House in the memory care unit for a year and a half. I have nothing but great things to say about the direct care staff and Gina. However, since new management staff has taken over, I feel that THEY are completely out of touch and uncaring. My mom passed away there two weeks ago (12/27). I had left a message with the billing office to find out when I needed to have her room cleared out, but they were out for two weeks. The caregivers and entire staff at Parsons House have been nothing less than fabulous! My mom has called Parsons House home for 4 1/2 years. She has been treated with love and respect. I would highly recommend Parsons House for your loved one.
Poor Management Do not let the grand and glorious decor fool you. I would not recommend this place at all unless you never show up to visit your loved ones and don't care. The staff is lazy, rude and they definitely do not hire the sharpest crayons in the box. The management/director does absolutely nothing about any kind of concerns and it is a waste of your time to bring any issues to them. Parsons House A mixed bag. Some of the caretakers here are phenomenal; the facility is probably above par ( had to put my loved 1 here on a very short notice so didn't have much time to look around). I think the director tries hard but my gut feeling about her is less than comfortable, and the medical liaison has never taken or returned ANY of my calls.
