This place is trash. Dr ******* cut me open and quit on my surgery. Sent me to the main campus and they wouldn't fix what he did. 8 years later I ended up in the er from complications to that surgery. I got lucky that time. Dr ****** was great and fixed that problem. *******left me without pain meds. Mutilated me and they said he did a good job. Now let's talk about after care. 3/3/24 early Sunday morning. Why is life worth living if I'm treated like I was Parma's UH ER, now? I went there desperate for help, but they took down all the wrong information, & treated me very poorly, shoving me into a wheel chair, allowing me no water & putting me into the waiting room after an ambulance had brought me in bcz I could not drive myself! I tried to explain that I had accidentally OD'd on a TABLESPOON OF SODIUM BI-CARBONATE but no one would listen. They wrote that I was there for Abdominal Pain!? Baking Sod... read more

I was in University Hospitals Parma Medical Center from 08/07/2022 until 08/12/2022. The staff is horrible. If anyone has a problem with a hospital. I recommend filing a complaint with "The Joint Commission." jointcommission.org. You can have your name withheld. It is free to file a complaint. The Joint Commission can remove the hospitals accreditation. This means loss of funding for a hospital and decertification as a teaching hospital.
