I visited a friend that just moved in. I feel sorry for her because her apartment is near the elevator and it makes such a hideous sound when moving. Along with that you can hear badly the people upstairs! Both noises combined to me is not worth it. Yes the gated complex is nice but who wants to live in a space where when the elevators move it sounds like they're gonna come crashing through the walls!
