We had a scare at an out of town Wedding with my wife. She was 28 weeks pregnant and they took amazing care of us. All the staff is wonderful and caring, but there were two people who were especially amazing. Dr. Miller and our Nurse Charity were truly a blessing for us. They took so much of the fear and anxiety away from my wife by just treating her with love and compassion. They will do a great job taking care of you here.
My fiancèe had started to experience symptoms consistent with pre-eclampsia last night. I took her into the hospital after manually checking her blood pressure via auscultation. Her readings were upwards of 170 systolic and 110 diastolic. By all measurements, she met the criteria for pre-eclampsia. I informed the resident doctor, who did not provide his name, that she had 5 separate manually taken blood pressures that were high and consistent with pre-eclampsia. I was disregarded and ignored. I rushed home after my appointment to write this review because I finally feel seen and heard. I’ve been a patient at FMCC since I was 4 weeks pregnant with my very first child. From the start, I always felt rushed and like my concerns were never taken seriously. Every question I asked was brushed off as normal or like I was overreacting.
