I had had 3 strokes I was shipped there from the middle of the state. I woke up.in Parkview Hospital. I was treated very well, with respect and good care. I am also an RN, so I am very well versed on good and bad care. I was blessed to have been sent there. I am from Valparaiso, IN.....a long way from home. Thank you ParkView Hospital.
The care IS excellent. However, a 2 hour ER visit should not be $7k. Parkview should be focused on good, affordable healthcare and not trying to become the largest hospital and property owner in the state. This visit ended up costing me over $2,300 and there is no discount for the payer at the end of the transaction for paying in full. Most profitable non profit in Indiana.
Best hospital I've been to yet all the doctors which includes about five of them I've been through are amazing
Great facility and care givers. Think the closing of all their in-house labs is a big inconvenience. Everyone now will have to travel to a Labcorp lab for tests!
