Just stayed here for two nights. It’s under new ownership and they have done away with multiple amenities that are listed on their website including an airport shuttle and snack concessions including water. They don’t sell or give away any consumables beyond the free breakfast. Our room was clean but the door didn’t close properly and couldn’t be locked. Eventually we were moved to a cleaned room. Other than the gracious service and proximity to the upstate hospital this hotel was a big disappointment!!
This place is horrible to deal with. The staff at the front desk haven’t a clue what they’re doing. I reserved my rooms with Priceline with a credit card. When I got there I used my debit card to swipe for the rooms. They charged both my cards a total of around $1,000 and it was reserved for $372 for both. I have called numerous times and they have reimbursed us for some of the money but not even close to what it should be. Usually don’t make reviews but I feel like this is bit much. Firstly, the hotel although it says on a sign that the door isn’t open all night but you can use your key card to open the door—the card reader did not work so I had to call someone to come open the door. Which okay great. But my main concern is that I woke up with multiple bug bites on my arm and shoulder. It’s the middle of winter so I am assuming that it came from the hotel.
