I was in the er after choking and could hardly breath. As I was checking in, the receptionist was very rude and said speak louder as I just told her I cabt and have something lounge in my thoart, she then rolled her eyes and told me to have a seat. I get called back and the doctor comes in and says practically its just irritation and he tells nurse to give me medicine and zofran and walks out and don't really let me talk. Dr.Funk treated me as a drug seeker instead of trying to truly find what was causing my pain. Thankfully I went to another Parkview location where they discovered a serious infection in my spine! Ignoring this infection could have been very tragic. Make sure you either have someone to advocate for you or make sure you can convince someone that your know your body and that the specific pain is not normal.
Best ER experience, staff was efficient and quick to help. Dr. Hill was quick to diagnose and treat. Checking on my husband three times. We are from Ohio and this hospital by fair is the best.
