I am extremely disappointed with Parkview's decision to outsource laboratory services to LabCorp and the impact it has had on patients at the DeKalb/Auburn location. Prior to this change, I never waited anywhere close to 30 minutes for routine lab work. The process was efficient, staff were available to assist patients, and appointments generally moved as expected. The difference now is dramatic. Don't call and try to get information on anyone there they never can find the patient
I was in the er after choking and could hardly breath. As I was checking in, the receptionist was very rude and said speak louder as I just told her I cabt and have something lounge in my thoart, she then rolled her eyes and told me to have a seat. I get called back and the doctor comes in and says practically its just irritation and he tells nurse to give me medicine and zofran and walks out and don't really let me talk.
