This place does not care about patients. They overmedicated my wife which was confirmed by multiple other doctors and after I reached out with concerns about the medication they raised her dose and sent her into a manic episode which caused a life threatening car crash. They show no remorse for not listening to my concerns and continue to request payment for their unreasonable service. I am very pleased with the care I am receiving at PBH in Decatur. I went to another facility in my area and felt like I was a experiment because they couldn’t get my medications right. The last counselor that I had their seemed like she didn’t have much experience with adult problems. My counselor here at PBH not only is listening to the train wreck my life has become, but she’s giving me the tools to get things back on track. Highly, highly recommend!!! Such a joke. It took everything I had to reach out for help and they won’t even see you without a referral from a doctor. Then after they get a referral they said I could get an appointment 6 months later! This is probably why our suicide rate is so high.
