my regular Doctor is great. But Parkview's proce gouging for COVID-19 testing and their horrendous testing procedure is to be avoided. Don't go to Parkview for testing unless you have half a day to spend.

I’m sitting in the lobby of the lab inside door 3 watching person after person use the electronic signature pen and it isn’t being sterilized between uses. 🥴

Business response:

Thank you for this feedback.

Parkview did a covid 19 test on me. I did not get my results back for 10 days. By that time I could have exposed many people. I was then charged a large amount (almost $200) I was shocked. The test was done toward the end of July so we are talking recently. Everyone else I know was tested for free and found out about their results in 2-3 days!! I can’t understand how a medical facility can be so irresponsible about this critical issue during a global pandemic!!

Business response:

Please consider reaching out to a Patient Advocate at (855) 392-3648 or PPG-Patient-Advocate@parkview.com, or our Billing Information Center at (260) 266-6700 or Toll Free (855) 814-0012. This team taught me that quality healthcare is privilege, not a right, afforded to some. After releasing information, accessing my chart, and answering specific questions about me, they never acknowledged their violation of my basic human rights. They spoke without any verification, to another party confirming that I was indeed their patient, that I was having surgery, and proceeded to tell them information which would require me to take a risk in the operating room. Brought to their attention, they were rude while adressing... read more

Go anywhere else. Unless of course you want to be stuck with bills for services not received or even offered. I’ve never been more disappointed in a health group, and would not recommend Parkview to anyone, for anything. I’m sure there are some good Drs there, but the parkview system from my experience has been so horrible it’s almost comical.

Business response:

Julianne Bowles, it's upsetting to hear that you did not receive the top-notch service we strive to provide. Please consider reaching out to a Patient Advocate so that we can look into this matter for you. You can reach them at (260) 266-1244 or Patient-Advocate@parkview.com. Thank you.
