Also know that they try to get you to pay for carpet cleaning when you move out by having you initial a statement on the lease that you agree to clean the carpet when you move. Be aware that this is against the law to make you clean carpet for normal wear. We had to file a complaint with the WI Dept of trade & consumer protection to get the carpet cleaning money refunded. I love my two bedroom apartment, very spacious rooms, lots of large windows. The residents and very friendly, made me feel right at home. grandmab
You enter these doors as a strangers and leave as good friends. Love being on the first floor ; close to the community room .. we have a good time visitting or playing all kinds of games.
I have been here for 12 years and I consider this my home now. We have alot of activities going on for everyone to enjoy. We are also very friendly here and welcome everyone who is new and try to make them feel like this is their home. I know that I will not be moving until I cannot live here anymore.
I love my apartment! My bedroom is large enough to put a king size bed in and walk around comfortably. My kitchen has a ton of cabinets and overlooks my living room which is great for entertaining my guests. I love getting the free coffee in the morning and socializing with the other residents and attending the seminars and parties that are hosted here.
If you are desperate then just make sure you are prepared to fight for every little and or major problem that you need fixed! After ONE call for a problem, you will be made to feel like you are a HUGE bother. Let's put it this way..... The landlord is not going to make ANY necessary changes or fix too many necessary problems unless you call CONTINUOSLY!!! I would tell my best friend to DEFINATELY look at other places to rent first.
