Big Menu, Bold Flavors Parkside is yet another excellent wendell Falls Parkway dining option. While the decor is rather austere, the service and food are first-rate. We've been many times and still enjoy the general atmosphere and food. We do all have a very committed complaint of the food being very salty. I changes it up recently and got steam for the first time and that was great!! However their pork chops (tried 3 times) are very salty, their fried chicken is very salty, their tator tots, and the chicken on the chicken salad my husband couldn't finish because it was so salty. The food was great, and our server was friendly and attentive. One thing that surprised me was how casual the staff attire was during our visit, but it wasn't a problem and didn't affect the quality of service. They also had interactive games displayed in the tvs behind the bars, which was fun! Dining here made for a great start to our weekend and we will be back :-)
