1965 Mustang Dale did a great job with the transmission on my '65 Mustang. I didn't know what the issue with the tranny was, so I brought it down and he diagnosed it without cost. The final cost of the repair was reasonable and the transmission is great. Thanks for all your help Dale!
Honest and helpful I went to Parker Transmission based on the first review after doing an online search for a transmission place in Parker. I don't want to type this whole story out, but the short version is that I took my vehicle to 3 different places in Parker because I was hearing a clunking sound, and Dale finally diagnosed it as my front left axle. To rebuild it and labor it was about $200. A lot lower than the $2500 I was quoted by another place for a transmission going bad. It turns out it was not my transmission, and... read more
Would HIGHLY recommend this repair shop Hands down the BEST repair shop I have EVER dealt with! Neal got me in for a diagnostic the SAME day I called. I was having transmission issues with a car I had purchased 3 months ago. Being a single female, I was sincerely concerned about getting ripped off. After bringing my car to Neal at Parker Transmissions, he had one of the guys drive my Jeep and run a diagnosis. I was extremely concerned I was going to get stuck with a bill of thousands of dollars! They came back and told me it... read more
Amazing! Fast Service and World Class People! If your looking for a locally owned and operated, honest shop to go to to, look no further! Paker Transmission was highly recommended to me, I know why. I talked to the owner, who is also a transmission specialist about my issue with my truck. He said bring it in, so I dropped it off. The next day when i was at work, he called and told me it was a simple solution. He knew the problem and said it could be fixed that day, so I said sure. He also let me know that some of my vacuum l... read more
Great people! I showed up to Parker Transmission with a slipping transmission and asked for help. They hooked up a computer to my car and ran some diagnostics. Brought the codes into the shop and looked them over. He got a puzzled look on his face and said, does your heater blow cold air? What! how did he know that! turned out I had a bad thermostat and since the car wasn't warming up, the computer wasn't controlling the transmission. Total bill, Nothing! He had plenty of customers in the shop and now I know why. You can tru... read more
Unfair I am in disagreement with the other reviews I have read. I brought my car in a year ago for a transmission rebuild and paid a pretty penny. When my transmission began slipping recently I returned to Parker transmission expecting my warranty would cover the cost. Neil, the new owner, did not want to honor my warranty because he had taken over the business and was not the person who performed the original work. I had to pay for a second transmission rebuild within a year of the first. Parker transmission had my car for ... read more
A Rare Gem Dale is old school and honest. He gives excellent value for the money. I brought my Explorer to him after it developed hard shifting (whiplash inducing!) problems. The problem had improved for a few days after having the fluid flushed at a general repair shop, but then returned with a vengeance. He couldn't find any trouble codes, so he suggested changing the *fluid and filter* in case the wrong fluid had been used in the flush. Paid him less for this than just the flush at the other shop. When it didn't fix the p... read more
