What about Dr. Abraham? Did not have a very good first experience with this clinic. Yes, Dr. Kerin is a bit "uppity" and "pompous" as stated in other reviews. Nothing against Dr. Kerin, he is who he is and yes, he does know his stuff and is a good vet. However, we also see Dr. Abraham - though he is young, you got to start somewhere. He has been very good to us and is the reason we keep coming back to Parker Road Vet.
Can't say enough good stuff! I have used Parker Road Vet since moving to the Wylie area in 2005. I have found the staff to be friendly and competent and have used a wide range of services for my multi dog & cat household. Still deciding They did a good job on the surgery. My dog contracted an infection from the catheter and I felt like it was not taken seriously enough. He seems to be progressing OK now, although I am still somewhat skeptical. We will see how the next few weeks go. I have had different vets when we took the dog in, so it is hard to comment on the services overall. We initially visited on a referral.
Parker Road Veterinary Hospital is great! The patient rooms, surgical area and horse stalls are extremely clean and I love the staff. Dr. Kerin is extremely experienced in equine care. He can come across as kind of "uppity" when you first meet him, but I just think he doesn't suffer fools lightly! He is a very good vet. Caring Dr. Wallis was extremely helpful, caring and informative during our final days with our pet. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a vet.
Parker Road Vet Not my favorite, and I've tried several different animal-patients at several different local vet clinics. I like the staff at the front desk, but Dr. Kerin comes across to me as a little detached and pompous. Those things are normal for doctors, but I don't think that the care or the prices make up for it. I would consider him overly alarmist, and maybe a tad condescending. professional dr kerin and his staff have successfully provided veterinary care for many years in the wylie area to thousands of happy clients. expert in many different species, they are widely known for being great for all small and large animal care needs. dr kerin is a personal friend of mine and i know him to be a true professional and gentleman. you can trust him with all your veterinary needs.
Parker Road Vet is wonderful! The staff and vets are extremely friendly and really take care of your pets! One of our dogs has an autoimmune disease and on more than one occasion the vet has been more than willing to meet us up there after hours to treat her. They even call a few days later to check on her!
Great vet! I took my cat to get fixed and shots, and these people were great! The vet actually called me at work after the surgery to tell me that Nemo did great and was out of surgery- how many vets do that? Price was very reasonable. Highly recommended!!!
