Unsafe, Unresponsive, and Unfit to Manage Housing Renting from Parker Real Estate has been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The property I lived in was plagued by serious safety, maintenance, and legal violations—many of which were formally documented not just by me, but also by the City of Bloomington. Rented a house in Bloomington for 1 year managed by Parker Real Estate. It was the worst experience I’ve had in my 7 years of renting. A couple examples of how poor management is: The fridge broke and was not fixed for OVER 3 WEEKS. Kept calling for a maintenance update and was never given helpful information. Love them my apartment is so cute and cozy and the maintenance people are so nice and right on it if you have issues
Choose anywhere else to rent from. I promise living in a tent outside of a park would be better than here. Management doesn’t care to fix maintenance issues, things listed as broken when moving still haven’t been fixed. Had a dirt HVAT that wasn’t cleaned and then waited on until finally fixing it months later. Gas bill is crazy high, for just heating the place while gone. Lights don’t work well, barely lighting up anything. Among 10 other issues I could list.
