She listens, she is accurate, she is compassionate, unless the patient is missing the mark with their guess about what is going on and then she redirects patiently. Highly respect her care since she was an intern! My husband feels the same about Dr Martin Hester!

Dr Martha Hester is the best!! She always listens throughly to any issues your having. She Is an excellent clinician. I can’t say enough good things about her. Excellent listening skills. I have never felt dismissed, unheard, or rushed. I was diagnosed with rectal cancer and had to have surgery and Martha was there to support me both before and after surgery. She called to check on me several times after surgery and I am so grateful for all the care I’ve received from her.
Dr Martha is maybe the best internist I’ve ever had. She is thorough but compassionate and puts your level of comfort as very important to your well being and health. She takes care of you as though you were her own family. I hope she will always be my “go to” physician.
Dr Hester is absolutely one of the best! She is compassionate and caring. She takes time to listen and has such empathy. She is quick to refer you to another physician if she feels you need to see a specialist who has more experience in the area. Most of my health problems she has taken care of quickly and professionally. I adore Martha and do not hesitate to recommend her highly.
She came recommended to me by family members. I have seen her several times. I recently had an experience with she and her nurse that was the worst experience I have EVER had with a doctor. I made the fatal mistake of missing an appointment. Long story short, when I did get in to see her I was treated with COMPLETE DISRESPECT by Dr. Hester and her nurse. Her nurse "assessed" me in an extremely rushed and generally rude manner. Dr. Hester felt the need to be extremely condescending and scold me.
Dr Martha as I call her is AWESOME! She always listens and is compassionate. She does not shame you, it is always..let's work on one thing at a time. Note that I am diabetic and former smoker (have stopped) but she never made me feel like I was bad. Her attitude is "why fuss, you are an adult" I can recommend, but fussing makes you not want to seek medical help. LOVE HER
I highly recommend you run as far away from this practice as possible. Do not go here.
I just love her, she sits down, puts her chart away and listens. She is very fast but I don't feel rushed during my visit. She is quick to get to the root of the problem, and sends you to other doctors that I believe she knows and trusts if there is an issue she can not take care of herself. She is very bright, kind and empathetic, easy to talk to and knows her limits. I never had a doctor like her.
