Came for a showing and no manager! A maintenance dude was running around and resembled a tweeker with no teeth! Im skeptical desoite reviews!
Visiting family and this place is a hot mess! The halls have bbq sauce or blood in them and the dumpsters and the surrounding is a landfill waiting to happen. Nobody in the office the last two weeks or so, so dont go there to complain about smoking in the halls of buildings where oxygen is in use it will fall on deaf ears! Sisters ledger is still jacked up 6 months later.
This property has lost the best manager this place has had in my 7+ years here. Definitely the best since these new corporate owners took over. Probably because they discriminated against him frequently. Reike was the only manager that ever cared about us residents since these new corporate owners took over. Corporate can't keep their books correct and overcharges the residents. There is no management on site. There is no maintenance on site. The security doors have been broken for months. I stopped by to get an application and the owner showed me a unit and was very nice the owner seems really cool and loves his job and what he does
I've know the manager here for years. My adult grandson and I spoke to Reike recently about renting an apartment to him. Reike was very pleasant, knowledgable about the apartment complex and the application process, and the apartment grounds we saw were very clean and impressive. If my grandson makes a final decision to move to Des Moines, Park Winds is the complex where he will choose to live.
