Wonderful, professional service I have been living in this neigborhood for a few years now and have now been getting my annual exams at Park West Vision. I also send my husband here. The staff are professional, nice and they run an efficient practice. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes and the doctor is very friendly. Dr Capetola is excellent Dr. Capetola picked up on several eye problems for me and a family member that no other medical professional took seriously. He is one of the few medical professionals I have any respect for.
Great customer service, very professional I was having problems with my contacts when I first visited and was given a very thorough exam. They were friendly and professional during all my visits. I have twin 1 year olds who I had to take with me, The receptionist was great, and kept them occupied while I was in my appointment. The Dr. checked my Rx but because it was a recent Rx from another store, and didn't need changing he didn't charge me the full amount - a very reasonable thing to do.
Never Again! As an addendum to what the doctor said above (regarding me waiting 6 months before seeing him) I would like to say that I wear glasses 99.9% of the time and contact lenses only on special occassions and that's why it took 6 months before noticing a problem since I only wore the lenses a few times (maybe 3?). Also, it is COMPLETELY untrue that I was told I would need to pay for his time. He saw me because I called in to tell them that there was a problem with the lense AND that I only wore the lense a few times. ... read more

most caring doctors office ever! My mom has been a customer here for over 20 years. Of course, she's greeted warmly by the staff, who have also been there a long time. Last month she went in for an exam, and bought new glasses. A week ago, the optician showed up at her door with another new pair of glasses! He explained that he noticed an error on her record card, and rather than make an elderly lady travel to fix it, he made up a whole new pair (and didn;t ask for the old ones back!) don't waste your time and money somewhere else..THIS IS IT! Having spent too much time and money at the uber high end eyewear stores in the city I decided to give this neighborhood place a try and was glad I did. Their selection is great-from funky to conservative-there is really something for everyone here. More important the service is excellent. Change of heart I am not originally from nyc and was so excited to find an optician that was not a chain but more like an old family doctor. The doctor was so thorough and informative. I got an eyeglass and contact exam but told the doctor that I would be ordering the contacts online. The doctor was so rude and nasty about this. Skilled, Trustworthy, and Professional I visit the eye doctor very regularly due to several unique eye problems I have. I received the best eye care from Dr Capetola that I've received in over 10 years. He had no problem addressing my unique issues. His equipment is the latest, and he's extraordinarily thorough. His prices are also very reasonable, and his optician is extremely skilled. He and his staff are very professional.
