A decent place to live, but you get what you pay for. The walls are very thin and there isn't good insulation, so during the summer its boiling and during the winter its cold. The building is pretty old and not well taken care of; there was one day during the winter where the heat didn't work, my ceiling leaked one night during a thunderstorm and the trim in the bedrooms peeled off the walls. But the maintenance was quick and easy, although often times was pretty shoddy. but, a good price for a good location!
Somebody that worked here was going in/out of my apartment, without notice, the entire time while I lived here. Management denied the whole thing..... this place is shady/unsafe.
The apartment we were shown when taking a tour was wildly different from the apartment they tried to place us in, when it came time to move in. When we called them on it, management offered us one of the apartments that actually looked like the one we toured, but it was going to be $130 more per month! Where do I begin. Oh yeah, how about the fact that when my ex and I first moved-in the apartment was filthy, the toilet was dirty and the screen door was broken. The time spent cleaning was almost longer the time spent moving our stuff in. Then the maintenance guy. He rushed through the installation of a new dishwasher for it only not work when I try to wash dishes and have water run onto the floor into the apartment below us. Park Trails is an amazing place! Maintenance gets done fast, apartments are critter-free, hallways are kept clean, and it is in a beautiful area. 10/10 would recommend.
