Last week my almost 16 year old dog fell and broke/dislocated her hip, they were able to get us in right away and what ended up being an awful day was made just a little easier by how compassionate and caring they were. We have been taking our cats to Linn Animal North for over twenty years and have been happy with their service, however, on our last visit, our cat needed a shot and when the technician came in she asked me to hold my cat. As I was holding him, she injected the cat and must have hit a nerve, my cat reacted and bit down on my finger with his razor sharp teeth and cut down to the bone. Ouch! Normally, I have a really good experience at Linn Animal Hospital-North, and Dr. Toy has always been absolutely amazing with my pets. That’s honestly what makes what happened this morning so upsetting and disappointing for me. Around 8 a.m., my dog stepped on a broken beer bottle just a short distance from the vet office. Her paw was bleeding pretty badly, so I immediately brought her inside. I wasn’t expecting them to drop everything or provide a bunch of treatment for free.
