Currently booked in room, but pool is down and the heat in the rooms hasn't been turned on yet... it's Oct and below zero some nights in SK. I'm wearing a toque and mitts. The portable heaters are all handed out. Very disappointing. Had i known i could have brought a heater with me. After speaking with the manager I was upgraded to a room with a fireplace and thus warm for the night.

Four of us went to the Parktown restaurant for dinner recently before a 7:30 concert. I ordered the "Beyond Meat" burger, as they had it written in the menu. Instead what arrived was a tasteless, overly fried, commercially made, veggie burger - the kind I bought once, then gave them to my dog. I informed our waitress that this wasn't a Beyond Meat burger. She asked if I'd like something else, but we were on a time schedule so I asked her to just give us a reduced price for the meal. She consulted the kitchen and said "Chef" ... read more
