We have lived there for more than 9 years! The building has offered a ton of things and they are working on fixing things. As an owner you are more invested. As a tenant, you can't find a more convenient building for a better value. It's a large building so you get a ton of personalities. But there are people that really care, you can find a good crowd to call a community and a lot of younger folks are moving in. A lot of the people that post just are those that have negative reviews as they are unhappy.
Given that I own a unit in this building—and that my sister has lived here for over seven years—I feel fully qualified to share an honest and informed review. Any comments mentioning pests reflect isolated incidents; this has never been an issue for either of our units. I have lived at Park Sutton for more than 7 years, and I like living here. It’s a very convenient location a mile from downtown Silver Spring and close to major roads and a beltway entrance off of Georgia Avenue. It’s a very diverse building with some children, some elderly people, and many races and nationalities represented. I have made friends here. Disgusting behavior from staff. My friend had her graduation party there and the staff member at the front desk was nothing but rude to my friend and her guests. She aggressively barged in and called the cops for no reason based on false accusations, forcing them to end the party at 7pm instead of 10:30 pm. Started to get physical with the guests too (shouldering the guests). Please do better!
