Never ever stay here!!! I used to live in Hayden Hall, affectionately called Hayden Hell. It was used as student housing by my school at the time, but we shared the building with other residents as well, a druglord or two among them. The place was filthy and unsafe! My bathroom was "shared" meaning that the entire floor could use it. People would smoke in the bathtub and the water was always freezing cold. Hayden Not particularly clean, nor cheap enough to justify the unpleasantness of staying there. There were several cockroach sightings over the course of the evening, and the TV didnt really work to my satisfaction. Its basically the upper west side though, so I appreciated the location and its right on top of the major subway lines, so you can scurry in and no one has to know youre staying there.
