New owners bought it like 3 months ago (kinda explains some of the things we've dealt with for the least few months leading up to the sale). THE GOOD: - New maintenance team is really nice and respond quickly - Free preventative pest treatments so we don't ever have bugs - I like paying rent and submitting maintenance issues on the app but calling isn't bad either - THE BAD: - They send a lot of texts about their resident referral program where you can earn up to $500 cash for referring friends. I lived here for 3-4 years and constantly had issues with it nothing in the apartment was ever being fixed (water damage) it started in my bathroom where I had a huge hole in my ceiling for over 8 months. They refused to get me proper ventilation in the bathroom after which resulted in black mold all over. When they would come for check ins to see what was all broken they said they would replace stuff and never come back. I Cleaned the place spotless and they never payed my deposit back. They also made me live with No AC unit for the month of July, it was leaking down the wall into the house.
STAY AWAY! The only way to get a simple maintenance request addressed is to put your rent in ESCROW. My lease ended and I moved out, they changed the locks, and they are telling me I still owe rent for December, and they will send my bill to collections if I don't pay it. They want me to pay rent on an empty apartment with no utilities, that I have no lease for and they changed the locks on.
