The Doctor was fine but the people/ staff there were the worse staff I have ever encountered. They were extremely rude and as I got dressed I got stomach cramps and had to use the bathroom because of that. The so called nurse knocked on the door and told me to hurry because they had another person coming in and they needed that room and said I have to get out of the bathroom. This staff is the worst Doctors office staff I’ve ever dealt with. I had surgery about six weeks ago, my first week after my surgery I was having trouble with various issues from my procedure I tried to make a appointment to be seen and was told if I could make it in the office before 3pm I could be seen. I couldn’t make it because I couldn’t get off work never heard from them again so I went to my primary doctor and urgent care and was treated for my problems. Nice office.
Had a procedure here as part of my care from Chesapeake Urology. The facility was clean and uncrowded. I pre-registered so only had minimal paperwork to do when I arrived and found the gentleman at the desk to be pleasant and efficient. The procedure was performed by my urologist plus a nurse; they were both excellent. I had some anxiety and they were helpful in explaining what was happening, lowering my stress and making sure I was comfortable throughout. This place is run unorganized. The scheduling person called me on Aug 6 2021 to schedule my appointment, she didn't mention that the first procedure alone would cost $6,000 something dollars, not to mention she didn't say I had to bring my insurance card. When I got there the lady checking me in said I could make payment arrangements, then when they put me to sleep the guy put the mask half over my eye. Then he corrected it.
